Christmas Food Baskets - 2007 Because of the generosity of a lot of people and local businesses, this year we were able to give 120 local families food for the holiday season. The contents of each Basket consisted of a canned ham, fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, bread, canned goods, and many other food staples. Each Food Basket offers complete meals designed to feed a family of 4 for two to three days. The Milford Elks prepared and delivered the Food Baskets just before the holiday. Watch the bulletin for July in Christmas, 2008 - a fun family picnic day, to get us started on raising money for Holiday Baskets in 2008. The Basket Committee wants to thank everyone that donated money and time to make this event a success again this year. It was great to see a lot of newer members participate.
